What is a Criminal History Check?

A Criminal history check is a 7 year (further if requested), “Hands On’ search of records is conducted and includes both misdemeanor and felony convictions in most courts are reported to you. You are provided with all available information of convictions including charges, offense date, conviction date, dispositions and sentencing and any extra information that available from the courts.

Is it always felony and misdemeanor searches?

Yes, 99% of the time. In some counties, felony only is allowed. We have available an exception report that lists the counties or jurisdictions that are felony only.
