Common delay causes
- Court closures, holidays, clerk backlog, or manual retrieval.
- Incomplete candidate name, prior name, address, school, employer, or license details.
- Verification sources that require a paid database, signed release, or manual response.
- Drug screening scheduling or lab processing time.
- International source rules, language, country access, or local holidays.
When to escalate
Contact support if a start date is at risk, a candidate says they already responded, a release form was submitted incorrectly, or you need a source-specific explanation for a manager or procurement team.
